He was predeceased by: his uncle Mike Applegate; and his aunt Josephine Auten. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Applegate and Pansy Applegate (Miles); his wife Amanda Scantlin; his children, Abbrielle, Nalih, Harley and Kali of Raymondville; his sister Stephanie Nelson (Timothy); his daughter Jessica Applegate of Oregon; and his aunts and uncles, Connie (James Blevins), Joyce (Roger Bostic), Carol (Norman Smith), Leroy (Stella Jussel) and Mack Miles of Belton.
