He is survived by: his children, Brandi Akers of Houston, MO and Ashly Akers (Sandy) of Tecumseh, MO; his grandchildren, Lanie, Gus, Charley of Tecumseh, MO and Gracie Westbrook (Jessie) of Raymondville, MO; his great grandchildren, Fern and Ransom of Raymondville, MO; and his siblings, Marty Merckling (Judy) of Houston, MO, Bob Merckling (Barb) of Republic, MO, Sherri Gale (Merckling) of Houston, MO and Amy Brown (Brinson) of Nixa, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
