He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Throgmorton and Helen Elaine Martin (Burnett); his wife Cathy Throgmorton; and his sisters, Lucy Throgmorton and Lori Martin.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Mae Throgmorton of Missouri, Rocky Dale Throgmorton of Indiana and Sam Throgmorton of Missouri; and his brother Carroll Martin of Vilonia. He is also survived by three grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
