It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Weldon Calvert of Quincy, Missouri, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubin Calvert and Elsie Brown Calvert; his spouse LaVerne Thomas; his daughters, Helen Ann Calvert, Ruth Chambers and Carol Duffy; and his children-in-law, Beverly Calvert and John Duffy.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Calvert of Hannibal, Jack Calvert (Alisha) of St. Louis, Betty Anders (Kerry) of Quincy and Jill Snare (Tim) of St. Louis; and his close friend Fran Hays. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
The family asks that masks and social distancing be observed at services.
