He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Willis and Orma Marie McElroy (Broadwell); his former wife Anna Lucille Partain; his daughter Kim Topjian; and his siblings, Oscar McElroy, Ralph McElroy, Lester McElroy, Bobby Wayne McElroy, Marvin McElroy, Helen Klein, Hazel Flack and Wilma Lasher.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Norman of Queen City, Missouri; his children, Velma McElroy of Texas, Debra McElroy of Kirksville, Roy McElroy of Downing, Terry McElroy of Queen City, Lisa Torres of Illinois and Pam Topjian of California; his grandchildren, Royal Mitchell "Mitch" McElroy, Bradley Junior "J. R." Brough, Devin Topjian, Amanda, Ashley and Zachary Fowler; and his brother Gene McElroy of Excello, Missouri. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and many good friends and neighbors.
