He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Harold and Vera Vernice Morris (Lee); his significant other Linda Sue Morris; his wife Rosemary Morris; his brother Darrell Morris; and his brother-in-law Thomas Thurier.

He is survived by: his children, Sheri Jones (Bryan) of Queen City, Shawn Morris (Amy) of LaPlata and Jeffrey Morris (Rebecca) of Excello, Missouri; his grandchildren, Brandon Jones (Molly) of Beaverton, Brendan Jones (Shelby) of Queen City, Brayden Jones of Queen City, Abbie Morris of Kirksville, Kamron Rice of Trenton, Sadie Morris of LaPlata, Easton and Bailee Morris of Excello, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Westyn, Haleigh Jones of Queen City, Kimber Buford of Kirksville and Bentley Tingley of Kirksville, Missouri; his sister Marlene Thurier of Lexington, Missouri; and his children, Millie Ann and Sammy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
