She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Boyt and Maxine Boyt. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Newell; her children, Beverly VanRheeden (Russell) of Decatur, Illinois and Jon Anthony Heise of Wappapello, Missouri; her grandchildren, Andy VanRheeden, Jason VanRheeden and Sarah Vankirkley (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Kendrick of Decatur, Illinois, Corbin of Decatur, Illinois and Joshua of Decatur, Illinois; and her brother Byron Lawson.
