It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Brotherton of Puxico, Missouri, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H Brotherton and Vena Lou Brotherton; and his son Reid Brotherton. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Brotherton (Traci) of Wappapello and Greg Brotherton of Wappapello; his stepson Robert Hudson (Shaw) of Prescott, Arizona; his daughter-in-law Teresa Brotherton of Wappapello; his grandchildren, Ashley Mallory (Richard) of Wappapello, Carlissa Dempsey (Troy) of Wappapello, Levi Brotherton of Delaware, Katlyn Brotherton of Blytheville, John Brotherton of Wappapello, Gavin Brotherton of Jackson and Hayven (Payson Hudson); and his siblings, Ted Brotherton of Jackson, Scott Brotherton (Sandy) and Padge Haman (John). He is also survived by ten greatgrandchildren.
