He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Mary Magdalyn Sloan George; his brothers, Jay and Charles; his former wife Eileen Hoffman Gruenloh; and his wife Ruth Lee George.
He is survived by: his daughter Mari Christine; his stepchildren, Ruth Ann Brockmeier Orr (Kevin) of Cape Girardeau and John Brockmeier (Cyndi) of Arnold, Missouri; his grandchildren, Savannah Rose McKnight, Heath Orr (Ashley), Meghan Orr, Elizabeth Orr, Trey Brockmeier (Jessie) and Katie Brockmeier; his great grandchildren, Aiden Anderson and Natalie Orr; his nephews, John and Tim George of Seattle; and also Eileen Evelyn Hoffman.
