She is survived by: her husband Perry Thornton, Sr.; her children, Dennis Thornton of Essex, Missouri, Perry (Amber Thornton) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Mark Thornton of Sikeston, Missouri, Stanley (Suzi Smith) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Greg (Maria Smith) and Julia Thornton of Essex, Missouri.; her siblings, Elijah Perry of Detroit Michigan, Shirley Cohen and Laura Butts; her close friend Rodgers; her siblings, James Cohen, Ann, Mary and Doris Cohen; and her grandson Taylor. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
