It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Hemby of Puxico, Missouri, born in Wappapello, Missouri, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Samuel Pollard of Washington and Bessie Evaline Hemby; his daughter-in-law Cindy Hay Hemby; and his siblings, Sherdian, Claude, Roy, Lyman, Buford, Mirl Hemby, Violet Lowe and Nola Silva.
He is survived by: his sons, Tom Hemby (Deanna) of Brentwood, TN and Ron Hemby of Nashville, TN; and his granddaughters, Natalie Wrucke, Vanessa Ruesler and Amelia Hemby. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
The family has requested that any memorial contributions be made in the form of a donation in George Hemby's name to Life Chapel Assembly of God: PO Box 282 Puxico, MO 63960.
