With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Martin Abramovitz (Purdy, Missouri), who passed away on May 11, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Abramovitz and Rose Abramovitz (Staponski); his wife Dolores Perch; his daughter Barbara Wimberley; his brothers, Edmund Abramovitz and Leo Abramovitz; and his daughter-in-law Teresa Abramovitz.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Abramovitz of Pierce City, George Abramovitz (Tamara) of Springfield, Bill Abramovitz of Monett, Ted Abramovitz (Beth) of Purdy, Linda McAllister of Monett and Debbie Harvey (Bill) of Rocky Comfort; and his siblings, Julius Abramovitz of Pierce City and Rosemary White of Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 the family has requested that if you plan to attend either of the services on Thursday or Friday that you please wear a facial mask. Also due to Covid-19 a private family memorial Mass for Lawrence will be held at a later date.
