He was predeceased by: his parents, John Day and Effie Mae Day (Snook); and his siblings, Ruby Lorene Fletcher, Helen Marie Day, William Hardy Day, Alma Louise Smith, Mary Kay Murphy, Harold J. Day, Wallace Walter Day, Virgil, Kenneth Albert Day and John H. Day.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Crow; his children, Michael Day of Kansas City, Missouri, Michelle Toppass (Mark) of Rich Hill and Melissa Day of Kansas City; and his grandchildren, Andy, Evan and Maggie.
