With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dora Julia (Fowler) Tate of Purdin, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Fowler and Timmons; her husband Bud; her daughter Peggy Bennett; her grandchildren, Melanie Saccaro and Beau Spencer; and her siblings, Howard, James, Katherine, Jane and Louise.
She is survived by: her children, Reagan Tate (Mindy Britton) of Brookfield, Nancy Spencer (Dean) of Browning, MO and Christina Tate of Purdin, MO.; her grandchildren, Austin Bennett (Jenn Miller), Kacie Calhoun (Jimmy) and Paige Walters (Jesse); her great grandchildren, Tate Saccaro, Jameson Calhoun, Bennett Walters, Paityn Walters and Cohen Walters; and her brother Brye Fowler of South Dakota.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home (1201 W Helm St, Brookfield, MO 64628). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Morris Chapel Cemetery.
