It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Lorraine (Shackelford Hamilton) Combs of Princeton, Missouri, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Shackelford and Fern Shackelford (Alexander); her husbands, Fayne Hamilton and Earl Combs; and her siblings, Viola King, Maurine Preston, Nadine Kinnison, Lester Shackelford, Lawrence Shackelford and Aaron Shackelford.
She is survived by: her daughter Colleen Jincks (Iven) of Princeton, MO; her granddaughters, Kerri Jincks of Princeton, MO and Kelsey Jincks of Princeton, MO; and her stepchildren, Delynn Walden (Alan) of Frankson, TX, Debbie Albercht (Jim) of Carrollton, MO and Bill Combs (Phyllis) of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by six step grandchildren; step great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roberson Funeral Home - Bethany (1107 S 25th St, Bethany, MO 64424). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Hamilton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hamilton Cemetery and/or Mercer County Ambulance in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.
