It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Distler of Prairie Home, Missouri, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Joseph Distler and Dorothy L. Distler (Schulte); and his siblings, Kenneth Distler and Ruth Bradley. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Distler (Kayla), Samuel Distler, Jesse Distler (Michelle) of Jefferson City, MO, Rachel Distler, Stephanie Kasey of Streetsboro, OH and Consepcion Cook (Allen) of Streetsboro, OH; and his siblings, Donald Distler (MaryJo) of Jefferson City, MO, Sylvester Distler (Glenda) of Jefferson City, MO, Gerald Distler of New London, MO, Lisa Anderson (Robert) of Des Moines, IA, Denise Gerlt (Steve) of California, MO, Cindy Volkart (Terry) of California, MO, Victoria Hankins (Roger) of San Antonio, TX and Joyce Ziehmer of California, MO. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
