She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Birdsong and Dorothy McDowell Birdsong (Foreman); her son Rickey Kimsey; her siblings, Albert Birdsong and Frances Wood; and her granddaughters, Jessica and Cynthia.
She is survived by: her spouse Foreman Gunter; her children, Russell Brandes (Susan) of Prairie Home, MO., Dustin Kaiser (Glenda) of Jefferson City, MO., Dennis Kimsey (Karin) of Seward, NE. and Melinda Zey (Stephen) of Blue Springs, MO.; her sister Mary Long (Ross) of Paris, MO.; and her grandchildren, Shawna, Diane, Sonya, Brandi, Kevin, Adam, Lyndsey, Jonathan, Nataly and Delaney. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Clarksburg.
