She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Josiah Edwards and Mary Elizabeth Edwards (Gloyd); her significant other William John "Bill" Dees; her children, Ardella Bernell, John Earl of Powersite, MO and Laura Elizabeth (Stephen LaRoque) of Powersite; her grandparents, Albert Edwards, Mary Ann Edwards (Pickett), Dr. G. W. Gloyd and Nancy Jane Gloyd (Watts); her children, Bernell Barnett (Dees) and William "Billy" Ryan Dees; her siblings, Almeda, Josie, Blanche, Veda, Trulabelle, Minta Mae, MaryJo, Remus, Earl, Carl and Joseph Jr.; her son-in-law Patrick Barnett of Ozark, MO; her grandchildren, Luke Barnett (Sarah) of Waukesha, WI, Trula Plummer (Nick) of Kirbyville, MO, Rachel Barnett (Eric White) of Kirbyville, MO, Maryruth Barnett (Djordje Grabez) of Brooklyn, NY, Billy Dees (Chandy) of Taneyville, MO and Addie Dees (Jake Stoneburner); and her great grandchildren, Aldebaran, Georgia, Ruby, Nora, Emerick, Nathaniel, Abigail and Everly.
