It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Elaine West of Potosi, Missouri, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Antoinette Remion (Merciea) and John B. Remion; her husband Stanley West Sr.; her son Stanley "Butch" West Jr.; her husbands, Garry West and Gerald "Jerry" West; her siblings, Matilda Remion, Anne Hall, Dolores Clark, Louis Remion, John Baptisti Remion, Walter Remion and William Remion; her grandsons, Cole West and Zachary Taylor West-Strong; and her great grandchild Caden Wayne West-Hastie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Sebring (Bob) of Wentzville, MO and Renee Strong (Todd) of Imperial, MO.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
She also made significant contributions to the Independent Journal in Potosi.
