He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Joseph Ward and Rose Lena DeGonia Ward; his wife Audrie Ward; his grandsons, Brian Allen Wills and Danny Ward; his son-in-law Cecil Daugherty; and his siblings, Alice Banks, Loretta Richards, Delphine Farris, Lena Sue Ward, Catherine Bone, Donald Ward and Ace Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Lester Ward (Lisa), Donald Ward, Donna Kean (Mike), Joseph Ward, Mike Ward (Laura), Stacy Ward (Christy), Jason Ward (Kristie) and Lena Daugherty; and his siblings, James Ward and Joyce Farris (Ben).
