It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terri Lynette Compton of Potosi, Missouri, born in Gassaway, West Virginia, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Joseph Ankrum; and her brother Richard Kenna Ankrum. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Compton; her mother Maxine Ankrum (Bright) of Westfield, Indiana; her brother Dr. Michael Ankrum (Barbara) of Blacksburg, Virginia; her mother-in-law Norma Compton; her brother-in-law Tony Compton of Potosi, Missouri; her children, Traci Bubalo (Steve) of Westfield, Tricia Field (Robert) of Noblesville, Sarah Cozort of Blacksburg, John Cozort (Ally) of Kansas City, Jeremy Compton (Sarah) of Round Rock and Matthew Compton of Denver, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Samuel Lambert, Daniel Bubalo, Kevin Bubalo, Michael Bubalo of Alexander, Katherine Field, Amelia Field, Kinsie Field, Hallie Ann Field, Esme Cozort-Dailey, Hayden Cozort, Emma Compton, Madeline Compton, Jackson Compton and William Compton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
