She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Benson and Goldie Benson (Lamar); her son Darrin Tyler; and her siblings, Verlin Benson, Virginia Boyer, Gene Benson, Billy Benson and Infant Tiny Benson.
She is survived by: her friend Potosi; her husband Walter Tyler; her children, Veronica Henry, Gary Tyler and Tracy Sisco; and her siblings, Olan Benson, Ervin Benson (Claire), Lonnie Benson, Charles Benson (Sandy) and Lee Benson (Tracy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
