He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dement and Sally Dement (McMurry); his siblings, Alma McKittrick, Ralph Dement, Gene Dement and Carl Dement; and his parents-in-law, Cluster and Ettie Black.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Rose Dement; his daughter Sandra Owen; his grandchildren, Amy Greif (Robert), Suzanne Glaze (Justin) and Michael Owen (Jodi); his great grandchildren, Emily Rose, Madison Faye, Evan, Molly, Brady Robert and Tanner; and his brothers, Darrell Dement (Glora) and James Dement. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
