He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Boyer (Pashia) and Samuel Boyer; and his siblings, Tom "Yogi" Boyer, Billy Joe Boyer, Donald Boyer, Anna Lee Johnston, Judy Boyer, Norma Jean Boyer, Benita Coleman and Carol Ballard.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Boyer (Koch); his children, David Boyer (Michele) of Potosi, MO and Christine Carlson (David) of Crossville, TN; his siblings, Kenny Boyer (Pat) of Potosi, MO, Becky Boyer of Potosi, MO, Geri Pratt (Bill) of Newport, AR and Kathie Belfield of Saint Louis, MO; his granddaughters, Madelyn and Mallory; and his sisters-in-law, Robin Boyer of Potosi, MO and Charlotte Boyer of Farmington, MO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Potosi Elks Lodge #2218. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home (105 Clark St, Potosi, MO 63664).
