He is survived by: his wife Sheila Rice of De Soto, MO; his children, Sheleenna Barnett (Michael) of De Soto, MO, Devin Heaston (Emily) of De Soto, MO, Lacey Smith (Brian) of De Soto, MO and Derek Heaston of De Soto, MO; his foster children, Payten Crump, Ariana Crump and James Crump; and his siblings, Christine Smith (Gary), Debbie Castleman, Sandy Ross (late Andrew), William Rice and Anna Storz (Mike). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
