He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harris and Effie Harris (Moore); and his sons, Tim and Shane Fitzwater. He is survived by: his wife Lavern Harris; his daughters, Denise Eye (Roger) and Amanda Wood (Alan); his grandchildren, Michael Fitzwater, Alyssa Green, Megan Holmes, Cody Whitley, Nikki Gilmore, Ricky Lee Turntine, Timmy DeClue, Brent DeClue, Corey Whitley, Nate Burke and Adam Burke; and his sister Linda Burke (John). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeClue Family Funeral Home (301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the New Diggins Cemetery.
