She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Simpson and Effie Simpson; her husband Carl Valley; her daughter Angela Valley; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Lake and Thomas Inmon; and her siblings, Robert Simpson, Alma Small, Evelyn Simpson, Frank Simpson and Albert Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Carl "Jay" Valley (Trina), Melissa Wohlbold (Paul) and Virginia Clapp (Anthony); and her brothers, Earl Simpson and Harold Simpson (Judy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
