She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Beers and Gladine Beers (Mason); her husband Ellis Midgett; her son Arthur Glenn Midgett; her granddaughter Jessica Midgett; and her siblings, Earlen Beers (Jenny), Ivan Beers, Bertha Hill (Floyd) and Maybelle Beers.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Midgett (Pam), Richard Midgett, David Midgett (Ramona), Douglas Midgett (JoAnna), Donna Lucas (David), Connie Reynolds and Tammy Midgett; her siblings, Fay King, Kay Nicks (Dave) and Ray Beers (Lynn); her sister-in-law Anna June Midgett; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Midgett, Matthew Midgett (Kara), Kelly Midgett, Alex Midgett, Nicholas Midgett, Christopher Midgett, Jonathan Lucas, Joshua Reynolds (April), Jeremy Reynolds and Jimmy Midgett (Ashley). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
