It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leda Gaines of Potosi, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Faupel and Geraldine Faupel (Godt); and her brother Raymond Faupel. She is survived by: her husband Rick Gaines; her children, Angela Poehl of St. Peters, Rickey Gaines, Jr., Tim Thompson of Farmington and Jeff Gaines (Karrie) of Potosi; her siblings, Sheila Kirn (Michael) of Barnhart, Missouri and Gregory Faupel (Julie) of Carbondale, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Cadin, Emily, Jaidlynn, Izzy, Addie, Jackson and Keagan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
