She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Voyles and Mary Falterman (Shipp); her stepfather Luke C. Falterman; her husband Edward Thurmond; her son Mathew Thurmond; her son-in-law Adam Jenkins; and her siblings, Luke E. Falterman and Tisa Falterman.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Kadlez (Thomas), Jason Voyles, Vanessa Jenkins and Benjamin Thurmond; her stepchildren, Jacob Barfield, Jonathan Barfield and Tasha Barfield; her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Breanna, Michael, Ian, Jocelyn, Malea, Coteney, Bella and Micha; her great grandchild Noah; and her siblings, Kitty Bretz, Pamela Day (Britt), John Falterman (Ruby), Fanny Cavalier (Patrick), David Falterman, Louis Falterman, Steve Shipp and Cynthia Rabalais.
