It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis Elizabeth Tarrants (Potosi, Missouri), born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennett J. Netzer and Anne B. Netzer (Mercer); her husband Ronnie; her siblings, Clinton Carr (Carol) and Ruth Ann Carr; and her brother-in-law Karl Frenzel.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Smith, Jr. (Donna), Teresa Gonzalez, Mark Smith, Anne Dihlmann (Ed), Cindy Crossin (Gary) and Diana Coats (Joe); and her sister Nancy Frenzel. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the DeClue Family Funeral Home (301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
