She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Trokey and Magdalene Trokey (Vance); her former husband Dean Adams; her children, Theadore "Teddy" Adams and Kim Allen; and her brothers, Ronald, Lloyd, Frank and Lindell Trokey.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Showmaker; her children, Debbie Thompson (Leo), Leslie Dean Adams (Rhonda), Marvin Adams (Cindy), Brenda Adams, Robin Essmeyer, Shannon Strauser (Rob), Tonya Sheets and Jon Moffett (Amy); her grandchildren, Chris, Kimberly, Amy, Andrea, Deana, Dustin, Ciara, Shaun, Janae, Adam, Ian, Darin, Taylor, Tara, Ryan, Joel, Grant, Malania, Ashlin, Braden, Allie, Anne and Amanda; and her sister Dorothy Eaves. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
