He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Courtway (Smith) and James Edward Courtway; his siblings, Margaret Hastings, Bonnie Berks and Jerry David Hank Courtway; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Whaley, Tommy Emily and Connie Courtway.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Courtway (Osia); his children, Tommy Courtway, Janet Courtway, Keyontrey Lee, Lily Courtway and Jessica Littrell; his siblings, Mary "Tookie" Whaley, Pauline "Poopie" Counts, Betty Courtway, Joseph Courtway (Carol) and James "Butch" Courtway; his grandchildren, Levi and Reece; and his friends, Mike "Munk" Thompson, Brian Thompson, Danny Rolens, Tina Rolens and Lonnie "Hippie" Eckhoff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
