He is survived by: his children, Letta Smith (Jerry), Dawnetta Harter and Darrick Harter (Heather); his grandchildren, Justin Smith (Laura), Larissa Smith (Dylan Helms), Kaitlynn Wharton (Cloud), Peyton Benfield, Andrew Daily, Anthony Harter and Aiden Harter; his great grandchildren, Arianna, Morgan and Allanna; and his siblings, Shirley Lipp (Melvin), Betty Wilson, Cindy Herman (Dennis), Kimberly Brakeville (Bill), Sandy Eggemeyer (Loren), Donald Harter (Pamela) and Dennis Harter (Montana). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and countless nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the DeClue Family Funeral Home (301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at the Palmer Cemetery.
