He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Preston Carlyon, Sr. and May Amelia Carlyon (Bergmann); and his son Ronald Duane Carlyon. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Carlyon (Rynearson); his sons, James Lee Carlyon (Traci) and David Joseph Carlyon; his siblings, Isabel Arndt, Nancy Weekley, Harold Carlyon, Charles Carlyon (Wilma), Ralph Carlyon, Paul Carlyon and Steve Smith; his grandchildren, Adam, Joshua, Michael, Rebecca and Jaclyn; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Piper, Evan, Kent and Wyatt.
