He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell S. Goodson and Edith Goodson (Kesterson); his wife Shirley Goodson; and his sister Grace Dean Harbison. He is survived by: his son David Goodson of Ballwin, MO.; and his friends, Brent Gant, Margaret Breakfield, Mary Pat West, Joan Knott and Angel Chazelle.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial tributes be made to: The Potosi Rotary Club Scholarship Fund.
