She was predeceased by: her parents, William Layton and Irene Bernice Hedrick (Gibson); her husband Virgil "Lee" Phipps; her mother-in-law Sally Coaley; and her siblings, Willa Jean Devine, Anna Marie Jordan, Harold William Layton and Lester Edgar Layton.
She is survived by: her children, Christina Bishop (Rickey) of Potosi and Brian Phipps (Becky) of Potosi; her sister Mary Licklider of St. Genevieve, Missouri; her brothers-in-law, Jerry Phipps (Debbie) of Potosi and Billy Phipps (Rita) of Potosi; her grandchildren, Vickie Boyer (Nathan), Nickie Henry (Caleb), Garrett Phipps, Amber Bishop, Larisa Phipps (Conner), T. J. Sero (Hanna) and Dustin Sero (Heather); and her great grandchildren, Evelyn Boyer, Troy Phipps, Jaxon Phipps, Iris Boyer, Sophia Sero, Abella Sero and Preston Javis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends adopted grandchildren from camp and friends.
