She is survived by: her children, Rick Jenkins (Dana) and Jamie Meinershagen (Shawn); her grandchildren, Justin, Paige, Joshua, Jacob (Ainslee), Ivy and Jason; her great grandchild Bo; her sisters, Sherry Hosking and Nancy Dill; and her sister-in-law Burnadeen Yost.

“Rick: I am SO sorry to hear of Doris' passing. The Jenkins family was a big part of my growing up years, from my dad (Richard Britt) and Eddie who sang together in a gospel quartet together; to my brother (David Britt) and I riding bikes, playing wiffleball, attending school together as kids and spending a lot of time at the Jenkins yard; then being teenagers together, as Ms Doris was secretary at the high school. She was a very special person to everyone she met! Keeping you, all, in prayer!”
