He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. McConnell and Bessie F. McConnell (Wigger); his wife Iris McConnell; his brothers, James and Glenn McConnell; and his grandson Jordan McConnell.
He is survived by: his children, Timmy Wilkerson (Tracy), Shelly Cresswell (Pat), Crystal Golden (Danny), Donnie McConnell Jr., Donna Skaggs (Dennis) and Jimmy McConnell (Beth); and his grandchildren, Tiffany Ferguson (Lee), Tj Wilkerson, Brittany Shadrick (Nick), Brandon Golden, Haley Jones (Justin), Kylee Cresswell, Kaylin Cresswell, Karley Cresswell, Tonya Clark (Brant), Stephanie Boyer, Joe Lipinski, Jimmy McConnell and Johnny McConnell. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other dear family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar DeClue Family Funeral Home (301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM.
