She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurst Nipper and Ethel Nipper (Jenkins); her husband Rev. Lawrence Akers; her son-in-law Roger Ives; her great grandchild Cayden; and her siblings, Jim Nipper, George Nipper, Bernell Nipper and Erma Hudson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Ives and Judy Bell (John); her grandchildren, Craig Ives (Bonnie), Danielle Ives, Amy Stringer (Dennis) and Tia Coon (Brandon); and her brothers, Clyde Nipper and Cyril Nipper (Bonnie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
