She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlin Lloyd Benson and Lillian Bowen; and her brother David Verlin Benson. She is survived by: her husband Bryan K. "Boob" Lawson; and her siblings, Roger Dale (Janet Benson), Phyllis Elaine (Stanley Lucas), Bonnie Sue (Chris Mead), Danny Wayne (Shana Benson) and Shelia Baker. She is also survived by many extended family, cousins, and friends.
Prayers for the family are welcome but no flowers are necessary; instead, Debbie would have loved to know that a donation to a church or food pantry was made in her name, as a thank you for those times when she and Bryan received blessings and support.
