She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Smalley and Wava Smalley (Ramsey); and her siblings, Leonard Smalley, Judith Johnston and Carol Gonzales.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Johnston (Danny), Heather Dillion (Brandi) of Bismarck, Danielle Rutledge (Matt) of Potosi, April Wade (Brian) of Mineral Point, Jessi Portell of Farmington, Missouri and Timothy Johnston (Tina) of Cedar Hill, Missouri; her husband Jesse Portell of Potosi; her sister Patricia Ruops (Steven) of St. Genevieve, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Chris, Aidan, Micah, Drake, Hunter, Brexton, Eliana, Gunner, Connor, Stryker, Bryer and Laney. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
