He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Breakfield and Almeda Jane Breakfield (Hollinsworth); his brothers, Eddie Breakfield, Virgil Breakfield, James Russell Breakfield and Montie Carl Breakfield Sr.; and his parents-in-law, Ruth Ann Breakfield, Thomas Campbell, Mike Pinson and Carolyn Sue Kite.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Hulsey; his children, Dennis "Dink" Breakfield (Paula), Sandra Buford (Harold) and Roger Breakfield (Michele); his grandchildren, Jason Breakfield (Brandi), Brandon Breakfield, Kayla Chapman (Breakfield), Ashley Hartley (John), Cammie Buford, Zachary Breakfield, Kennedy Breakfield (Ethan Nipper), Joshua Melton and Derick Chapman; his great grandchildren, Riston Breakfield, Jaylee Breakfield, Braxton Breakfield, Caedon Lowry, Jadyn Lowry, Raleigh Lowry and Kaleb Chapman; his siblings, Mildred Campbell, Vivian Ledbetter (Charles), David Breakfield (Mary) and Darrell Breakfield (Baby); and his parents-in-law, Bessie Breakfield, Margaret Breakfield, Brenda, Claude Berry, Vickie, Bill Horton, Norma Ruth Hulsey and Annette Pinson.
