He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Gilliam and Zona Gilliam (Jenkins); his stepmother Mamie Gilliam; his siblings, Clement Gilliam and Reva Morgan; his great grandchildren, John Edward Gilliam, Dustin Siedleman and Christopher Todd Fairchild; and his significant other Judith Franklin Gilliam.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Gilliam (Debbie) of Potosi, Alva Lynn Gilliam (Donna) of Farmington and Steve Gilliam (Alice) of Cadet, Missouri; and his close friend Danny Pyatt. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear and special friends.
