With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Ann Shownes of Portland, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on February 9, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Finke and Wilma Finke (Tuepker); her siblings, Warrant Officer, Stephen P. Finke, U. S. Army, W. Dale Finke, John M. Finke Allen and Marilyn Morris; and her brother-in-law Dr. David Dawdy.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Shownes; her children, James A. Basile (Christine) and Keri L. Bell (Tom Cunningham); her grandson Tony R. Basile (Ashley Adams); her great grandchild Skylar Basile; her sister Janice Dawdy; her stepchildren, Brent R. Shownes (Janie) and Keri A. Wade (Dennis); and her stepgrandchildren, Taylor Shownes, Andrew Shownes, Nicholas Wade, Caelen Wade and Chaise Wade.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Maupin Funeral Home - Fulton (301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
