He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Franklin Dillon and Harriett Turner (Noah); his siblings, Tom Dillon, Richard "Dickey" Dillon, Roger Dale Turner, Rosetta Chapon and Sharon Blanton; and his granddaughter Miranda Jean Dillon.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dillon (Herter); his sons, Joe Dillon (Lori) of Portland and Richard Franklin Dillon (Amy); his grandchildren, Layne Archer Dillon and Laikyn Miranda Dillon; his stepsons, Chris Herter (Nicole) of Columbia, James Wagoner (Ericka) of Steedman and Nick Wagoner (Amy Ray) of Steedman; his sisters, Diane Schweppe of Il and Dorothy Fosdick of Ca; his half-siblings, Randy Dillon of Bismarck and Sandy Masterson (Paul) of St. Charles; his stepbrother Leroy Griffith (Joyce) of Warrenton; and his stepgrandchildren, J. T. Wagoner, Sasha and Ella Herter.
