He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wimmer and Dorris G. Wimmer (Hayes); his wife Doris V. Wimmer (Presley); his stepson David Cook; and his siblings, Terry Wimmer, Sandra Jean and Sharon Ann Wimmer.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Wimmer (Cindy) of Portland, Roger Wimmer of Kennett, April Howard of Nashville and Terri Martin (Steve) of St. Charles; and his siblings, Larry Wimmer of Fulton, Daniel Wimmer (Sharie) of Portland, David Wimmer (April) of Portland, Shirley Pullen of Mi, Yvonne Adams of Fulton, Elizabeth Myers (Steve) of Montgomery City and Debby DeVille of California. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
