We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2019, at the age of 82, Betty J. Smith (Portland, Missouri), born in Harviell, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Burpo and Eugenia Burpo (Payne); and her daughter Angela Rustemeyer. She is survived by: her husband Richard K. Smith; and her children, Jerry McGonigal (Suzanne) of Portland, Clifton McGonigal (Josie) of Steedman, Donald McGonigal (Kristy) of Holts Summit, Richard K. Smith Jr. (Connie) of California, Allen Smith (Vicki) of California, Steve Smith (Michelle) of Fairmont, Danny Smith (Cecily) of Fountain Inn, Brenda Haar of Bloomer and Diane Locke (John) of Fulton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
