He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel O'Dean Mays and Forrest Douglas Mays; and his siblings, Tessie Thompson, Dorothy Wagner and Edgar Mays.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Mays of Portageville, MO; his children, Richard Mays of Sikeston, MO, Steven Mays (Chasity) of Portageville, MO and Teresa Roberts of Portageville, MO; his brothers, Herbert Mays (Christin) of Lilbourn, MO, Douglas Mays (Susan) of O'Fallon and Edward Mays of Cape Girardeau; and his grandchildren, Kayla Mays, Callie Roberts, Alexa Holmes, Tyler Haynes, Garrett and Lilly Mays. He is also survived by many other relatives & friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the DeLisle Funeral Home (209 W Main St, Portageville, MO 63873). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
