He is survived by: his wife Rachel Wells of Lilbourn, MO; his sons, Rex A. Wells Jr. of Lilbourn, MO and Austin Bryan Wells of Lilbourn, MO; his siblings, Mike Wells of Murry, KY., Tonya Klifman (Matt) of Allegan, MI, Karen Wells of Portageville, MO and Vanessa King (Ronald) of Pullman, MI; and his grandchildren, Connor Kolwyck, Skylar Kolwyck, Oliver Kolwyck, Wyatt Peters, Dylan Peters and Avery Wells. He is also survived by four daughters.
